Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Sabu Dana - 1/2 cup
  2. Boiled potato - 1
  3. Chopped Green Chillies - 2
  4. Chopped onion - 1
  5. Chopped ginger - 1/2 tsp
  6. Chopped coriander leaves
  7. Chopped Roasted peanuts - 1 tbsp
  8. Bread crumbs - 1 tbsp
  9. Salt as required
  10. Refined oil

Instructions

  1. 1. As the Sabu Dana requires to fluff up and is generally soaked for 8 hrs or more, I rather soaked in hot boiling water for just 30 minutes.
  2. 2. While the Sabu Dana soaks, mash the boiled potato with rest of the ingredients.
  3. 3. Then drain the Sabu Dana, and squeeze out the excess water, mix it with potato mixture and form rolls.
  4. 4. Deep fry them in very hot oil. Serve. P.S : I added the bread crumbs to add the extra crunch and soak up any water left in Sabu Dana.
