Chatpata masala paniyaram

Ingredients to make Chatpata masala paniyaram

  • Dosa or uthappam batter 2 cups
  • Chopped ginger- 1 piece
  • hing powder 1/4 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Pounded pepper and jeera
  • Oil and mustard seeds for seasoning
  • Chopped cashews, almonds, etc
  • Chillies-2
  • curry leaves- a few
  • coconut- 1

How to make Chatpata masala paniyaram

  1. Mix all the ingredients into the dosa batter except seasoning ingredients, ginger, curry leaves, pepper jeera mixture and nuts.
  2. Season the batter with hot oil and mustard, adding ginger, curry leaves, pepper, jeera and nuts.
  3. Heat the paniyaram pan, add oil in the holes and pour the batter in the holes, cook on both sides.
  4. Serve with chutney of your choice like coconut chutney or garlic tomato chutney.
