Ingredients to make Carrot & corn koftas

  • For the Koftas :
  • Boiled corn - 1/2 cup
  • Grated carrot - 1 cup
  • Boiled mashed potato - 2
  • chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste - 1/4th tsp
  • salt
  • Garam masala powder - 1/4 th tsp
  • Maida/wheat flour/cornflour - 1 tbsp
  • Refined oil
  • For the Gravy :
  • Fried onion paste - 3 tbsp
  • cashew paste - 2 tbsp
  • curd - 1 Tbsp
  • (Cloves - 4, cinnamon - 1, elaichi - 3) powder - 2 tsp
  • Freshly ground Black pepper - 1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • green chillies - 4
  • lime juice - 1 Tbsp
  • Milk - 1/4 th cup
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • salt
  • Ghee/refined oil
  • pudina leaves
  • coriander leaves

How to make Carrot & corn koftas

  1. 1. Mix all the ingredients together mentioned under KOFTAS. Make small balls of the mixture, deep fry them in hot oil. Keep aside.
  2. 2. Take a kadhai , heat ghee/oil. Add fried onion paste. Saute for a minute, then add the cashew nut paste.
  3. 3. Add salt, rest of the masalas, curd and cook till the masala leaves oil.
  4. 4. Then add lime juice, green chillies, Pudina and coriander leaves, milk and water to form the gravy.
  5. 5. Add the KOFTAS and serve.
