Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1cup branyardmillet/ swang ke chawal
  2. 1cup sugar
  3. 4cups water
  4. 5 Tbsp desi ghee / clarrified butter
  5. Cardamom powder or pods 1tsp
  6. 5-6 chopped almonds
  7. 5-6 chopped cashews and raisins

Instructions

  1. In a wok add desi ghee add swang ke chawal and roast on low flame till golden brown, mean while make sugar syrup in another pan just to dissolve the sugar in water for one good boil .
  2. Add this sugar syrup to roasted swang and keep on stirring till all the water evaporates, finally add chopped nuts. Serve hot and enjoy this gluten free halwa while fasting.
