Fruit & Nut Cake

Ingredients to make Fruit & Nut Cake

  • 1 cup refined flour
  • 1/2 cup milk powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup refined oil
  • 1/2 cup castor sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp sparkling water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2/3 cup Mixed dry fruits (cashew almond walnut)
  • 3 tbsp tutti fruity

How to make Fruit & Nut Cake

  1. Sift together refined flour, milk powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  2. In a bowl add milk, oil and sparkling water and mix, add vanilla extract.
  3. Add the dry mixture in the wet mixture and mix it well.
  4. Pour the cake mixture in a greased square baking tin. Sprinkle nuts and tutti fruity bits over it. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 25 minutes.
  5. After 20 minutes u need to check.
  6. Insert a toothpick if it comes out clean then the cake is ready.
