Soft Methi Roti

Ingredients to make Soft Methi Roti

  • bajra powder 1/2 cup
  • Makki atta 1/2 cup
  • methi leaves 1 bunch
  • Green chilies 2
  • Grated ginger 1 tsp
  • Jeera and saunf along with curry leaves n oil for seasoning
  • oil for frying the roti
  • salt to taste

How to make Soft Methi Roti

  1. Mix bajra and makki atta with salt, chopped green chillies and grated ginger.
  2. Add cleaned, washed and chopped methi leaves to the mixture.
  3. Add water and mix into soft atta consistency.
  4. Apply little oil on the banana leaf and make rotisserie on it.
  5. Place the banana leaf onto the hot tava and pour oil around, cook one side.
  6. Then remove the banana leaf and then turn onto the other side and cook.
  7. Serve with hot and sweet fruit chutney or with any red chutney of your choice.

My Tip:

Glutenfree breakfast that can be served with chutney and curd.
