ABOUT Taal makhana raita RECIPE

My mummy make this raita, it is healthy and light. Can even eat in Navratras , just add rock salt instead of normal salt, also a everyday dish.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Lotus seeds/taal makhana - 1 cup
  2. Ghee - 2tbsp
  3. Fresh Curd - 1 cup
  4. Black salt - a pinch
  5. Sugar - as per taste
  6. Pomegranate - half cup

Instructions

  1. First take fresh curd in a bowl, add salt n sugar, mix it well keep in fridge.
  2. Heat a pan on medium flame add ghee than tall makhana, roast them well till crispy.
  3. Switch off the gas, take out taal makhana in a plate cool it.
  4. Now add taal makhana in curd. Garnish with pomegranate seeds.
  5. Serve.
