Coconut Paneer

Ingredients to make Coconut Paneer

  • 250 gms paneer
  • 1/2 cup Khoya
  • 1/4 cup cashew
  • 1 cup greated fresh coconut
  • 2 cup fresh coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh cream
  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • 3-4 green chilli
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Dhaniya powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/3 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • salt to taste
  • coriander leaves for garnishing

How to make Coconut Paneer

  1. Make a fine paste of coconut, cashews, tomatoes, ginger and green chilli.
  2. Take a pan and heat oil and butter in it.
  3. Now add the coconut paste and all the dry masala .
  4. Cook on low flame till the masala leaves the oil.
  5. Now crumble the khoya and add in the masala cook it for few minutes.
  6. Add coconut milk and cook for only few seconds.
  7. Add paneer cubes, salt and cream and cook for few more seconds.
  8. Turn off the gas and take it out in your serving dish and garnish it with chopped coriander leaves .
  9. Serve hot.

My Tip:

If you are fasting then avoid turmeric powder and in place of market cream we can use homemade fresh malai. We can replace salted butter with white butter.
