Ingredients to make Caramelized walnut chocolate tarts

  • 1 3/4 cup maida
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup butter ( at room temperature)
  • Melted chocolate
  • Sugar
  • Walnut ( chopped) 1/2 cup
  • 2tbsp Cream
  • Choco chips
  • Chocolate balls for garnish

How to make Caramelized walnut chocolate tarts

  1. First we need to make tarts.
  2. Sieve the flour and salt together in a plate.
  3. Rub the butter into the flour with your fingertips and mix well.
  4. Gradually add ice- cold water (approx. 3 tbsp) and knead well to make a stiff dough and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  5. Lightly flour the rolling pin and pastry board and keep aside.
  6. Knead the dough again and divide it into 10 equal portions.
  7. Roll out a portion of the dough into a 100 mm. (4) diameter circle. Place the circle into a 75 mm. (3") diameter tart case and press the circle gently around the sides of the tarts case.
  8. Repeat steps 6 to make 9 more tarts.
  9. Prick all over the tarts with the help of a fork.
  10. Arrange the tarts on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degree c ( 400 degree f ) for approx. 10 to 15 min.
  11. Cool the tarts and de mould.
  12. Melt the chocolate in double boiler .
  13. Put sugar in a pan and caramelized it add 2 spoon cream And 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
  14. Take tarts first fill chocolate in it than fill caramelized walnut .
  15. Decorate with choco chips and choco balls. Put a mint leaf for decoration.
  16. Your crispy tart is ready to eat.
