Ingredients to make nariyal ke chakke

  • Grated coconut 2 cups
  • Sugar syrup as desired
  • Cardamom Powder 2-3 Tsp
  • Chopped Almonds 2-3 Tbsp
  • Finely powdered almonds 2-3 Tsp
  • Melon seeds 2-3 Tbsp
  • Roasted peanuts

How to make nariyal ke chakke

  1. Roast all the nuts and melon seeds separately and keep aside.
  2. In a pan cook the grated coconut and add in all the roasted ingredients. Cook for few minutes.
  3. In a separated pan prepare the sugar syrup as per your choice of sweetness, add in cardamom powder.
  4. Add the sugar syrup in the nuts - melon seeds - coconut mixture.
  5. Transfer this mixture into a greased Thali and let it set overnight

My Tip:

Add juice of 1 lemon in the sugar syrup after cooling for a few minutes, to make the chakke a little transparent.
