Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup samo (upvas rice)
  2. 1 tea spoon sabudana
  3. 1 cup sour curd
  4. 1 tsp green chilli ginger pest
  5. Sindha salt as per taste
  6. ½ t spoon eno
  7. Black paper powder
  8. Warm water as required
  9. For Tadka-
  10. 1 tbsp Oil
  11. Slitted green chilli
  12. few curry leaves
  13. Coriander leaves for garnish
  14. 1 tbs sugar or as per yr taste
  15. Water ¼ cup

Instructions

  1. First samo & sabudana grind in mixie to a fine powder.
  2. Soak this mixture in sour curd for 1 hr then.
  3. Add salt & chilli ginger pest & water as required for dhokla batter.
  4. Keep steamer ready for dhokla to steam.
  5. Add eno and mix well.
  6. Pour batter in greased dhokla thali sprinkle some black pepper powder and steam for 10 to 15 minutes or till dhokla is done.
  7. Let it cool for some time.
  8. For tadka in pan take oil add karipatta slit chili then add water and sugar now put this tadka on dhokla.
  9. Cut round with cookie cutter or small vati garnish with coriander leaves.
