Ingredients to make Sunflower Pie

  • Ingredients for dough:
  • 1 1/2 cup maida
  • 1/2 Cup butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Chilled cold water
  • Ingredients for stuffing:
  • 1 cup blanched Spanish/palak
  • 1/2 cup greated paneer
  • 1/2 cup greated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 tsp black pepper powder
  • salt to taste

How to make Sunflower Pie

  1. Take a big bowl and crumble maida and butter.
  2. Now add salt and mix it with cold water to make a soft dough.
  3. Keep this dough in freeze for 1/2 hr.
  4. Grind blanched Spanish paneer and cheese.
  5. Add salt and black pepper.
  6. Now make big size roti and cut in round size.
  7. Place one roti and put the batter in middle and sides leaving some space from side and middle.
  8. Now put the other roti on it and cover it properly.
  9. Now put a small bowl in the middle and make cuts from the end of the bowl kept in the middle.
  10. Now twist those cuts so that the stuffing is open.
  11. Place the pie in baking dish and bake it in preheated microwave convection mode at 230 degree for 35-40 mins.
  12. Do have a look after 30 mins. As the temperature differs. Your sunflower pie is ready to serve

My Tip:

You can change the stuffing according to your taste In oven, bake it on the maximum temperature of oven for the same time. Check it after 25 mins.
