ABOUT Paneer Curry with Italian Twist RECIPE

This is a self innovative dish made for my paneer lover nephew. He made me think of this dish as he loves my all recipes and also he is my biggest critic too.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gm paneer cut in cubes
  2. 1 big onion (chopped in squares)
  3. 1 tomato (chopped in squares)
  4. 1 capsicum (chopped in squares, seedless)
  5. 1/2 cup Tomato ketchup
  6. 1/2 cup fresh cream
  7. 4 to 5 crushed garlic
  8. 2 tsp Oregano
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 1 tsp oil (of your choice, i used olive oil)
  11. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  12. 1 tsp red chilly powder or chilly flakes
  13. 2 tsp butter

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and shallow Fry paneer cubes till golden brown.
  2. Once fried, take them on a tissue paper to drain out the oil.
  3. In the same pan, add the butter to the oil and put crushed garlic to it. Saute for a minute.
  4. Now add onions, tomato and capsicum and saute for 2 to 3 mins and cover it for 1 min.
  5. Remove the lid and add tomato ketchup and stir for sometime.
  6. Now add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, oregano, salt and mix it.
  7. Once the oil starts separating, add fresh cream. Stir for a minute and again close the lid.
  8. After 2 mins remove the lid and serve hot with chapati, paratha or rice.
