Ingredients to make Aloo Chaat

  • 3 potatoes ( boiled and peeled )
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • Half lemon
  • 1 tbsp tamarind chutney
  • Rock salt ( sendha namak ) to taste
  • peanut oil for shallow frying

How to make Aloo Chaat

  1. Chop the boiled potatoes into 3 / 4 inch cube.
  2. Deep fry the potatoes in little oil in a pan till golden brown and well cooked.
  3. Drain excess oil on a tissue paper.
  4. Put the crisp potatoes in a bowl with cumin powder, black pepper powder, salt and mix thoroughly.
  5. Add tamarind chutney according to taste and add lemon juice.
  6. Mix properly and serve.
