Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. maida (sifted) 1 cup
  2. curd 1 cup
  3. powdered sugar 1/2 cup
  4. unsalted butter 1/2 cup
  5. cocoa powder (sifted) 4 tablespoons
  6. baking powder (sifted) 3/4 tablespoon
  7. baking soda 3/4 tablespoon
  8. vinegar 1 tablespoon
  9. water 1/2 cup
  10. vanilla essence 10 drops
  11. whipped cream 2 cups
  12. unsweetened dark chocolate bar 1/2 cup
  13. Kit kat chocolate
  14. cadbury gems
  15. fruit jam

Instructions

  1. Mix sifted maida, cocoa powder, baking powder and powered sugar in a big bowl.
  2. Now add the curd, butter and vanilla essence in the above mixture.
  3. Take a small bowl. Mix water, vinegar and baking soda in it. As the bubbles start rising, immediately add it to the above mixture.
  4. Now beat the whole mixture till it turns into a thick smooth paste.
  5. Take a microwave safe bowl (preferably circular). Grease the bowl with butter and pour the mixture into the bowl.
  6. Put the bowl in microwave and micro it for 6 minutes.
  7. After that, take the bowl out and let it cool. After it has cooled down, take the cake out of the mould carefully.
  8. Divide the whipped cream in the ratio 3:1.
  9. Put chocolate bars and butter in a microwave safe bowl and micro it for 1 minute & 30 seconds.
  10. Take the bowl out and beat the mixture till it becomes a smooth paste.
  11. Mix the above mixture with 3/4th part of the whipped cream.
  12. Cut the cake base horizontally in two equal halves. Apply the chocolate whipped cream evenly over the lower base.
  13. Now place the top over the applied cream.
  14. After this has been done, put the 1/4th part of the cream on the top and spread it evenly on the top and sides of the cake.
  15. Now, take 1 spoon of fruit jam and few tablespoons of water in a small bowl. Beat it till its becomes a smooth paste.
  16. Make a small circle in the middle of the cake with a knife and fill it with the jam mixture.
  17. Now cover the rest of the top with colorful gems.
  18. Take the kitkats. Separate its pieces evenly with a knife.
  19. Now start pasting them on the sides of the cake with the help of whipped cream. Once this is done, tie the kitkats with a ribbon so that they don't fell off.
  20. Keep the cake in the refrigerator for some time so that it cools and the kitkats are properly stuck to the cake.
  21. The cake is ready to be served.
