Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1/2 kg chicken (preferably boneless)
  2. 2 big finely chopped onions
  3. oil 1 tbsp
  4. Jeera 1 tsp
  5. 1 choti elaichi
  6. 1/2 badi elaichi
  7. 1 small tej patta
  8. 1 piece dal cheeni
  9. 2 piece laung
  10. 1 big tomato puree
  11. 1 tbsp garlic paste
  12. 1 tbsp ginger paste
  13. Salt to taste
  14. 1 tsp red chilly powder
  15. 1 tsp dandiya powder
  16. 1/2 tsp haldi
  17. 1/2 tsp jeera powder
  18. 1 tbsp tandoori masala
  19. 2 tbsp curd
  20. 10-12 kaju (soaked in warm water) to make kaju paste
  21. 1/2 tsp kasuri methi
  22. 1/4 cup thick cream

Instructions

  1. Boil chicken with whole garam masala. Once boiled, strain the chicken stock in a bowl and shred the chicken.
  2. Take oil in a wok, add jeera and onion. Cook onion till light brown in colour.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and all dry powdered masala. Cook for a minute.
  4. Add tomato puree, cook till masala starts leaving oil.
  5. Add shredded chicken, curd and kaju paste.
  6. Add chicken stock as per gravy required.
  7. Finally add kasuri methi and cream to it and cook for 2 mins.

hi mahek, the recipe and the pic looks interesting.though I am hard core vegetarian my father in law and husband are big time non veg freak...so this is my next. presentation to them...
