Ingredients to make Pesto Sauce Pizza on Tava

  • 4 pizza base
  • 1 medium thinly sliced onion
  • 2 medium thinly sliced red bell peppers
  • 2 medium thinly sliced green capsicum
  • 2 baby corns thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 cup grated Processed cheese
  • 1 cup pesto sauce
  • salt to taste
  • oil as required
  • For pesto sauce: 1 cup basil leaves (I used green tulsi leaves), 3/4 cup cashew nuts, 1/2 cup or 15-20 garlic cloves, 2 tbsp red chilli flakes, 1 tsp lemon juice, salt to taste

How to make Pesto Sauce Pizza on Tava

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add onion, saute for a minute. Add all bell peppers and baby corns till it softens. Add black pepper powder and oregano, chilli flakes. Mix well and add salt to taste. Topping of veggies is ready.
  2. Method of pesto sauce: mix everything and grind it smoothly, add some water if sauce is too thick. Sauce is ready.
  3. Take pizza base for topping. Spread pesto sauce evenly on it. Add veggies and sprinkle grated cheese. Pizza base is ready to go on tava or pan.
  4. Keep nonstick pan on slow flame. Put pizza base carefully. Keep stainless steel sieve. Put a plate on sieve to cover it properly.
  5. Put weight on this to maintain heat inside. After 5 minutes check the bottom of pizza base. Keep it till it gets crispy and light brown. Pizza is ready.

My Tip:

You can use tulsi leaves as a substitude of basil leaves.
