Ingredients to make Muhammara

  • 4 red pepper roast remove skin & deseed
  • ¼ cup walnut toasted
  • ¼ cup bread crumb toasted
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp garlic chopped
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses (pomegranate juice cooked with 2 tsp caster sugar & 2 tsp lemon juice)
  • 1 tbsp garlic chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt to taste

How to make Muhammara

  1. Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend well to a smooth consistency.
  2. Garnish with parsley and pomegranate.
  3. Serve with pita bread or vegetable crudites.
