ABOUT Yeast Free Vrat Pizza RECIPE

Navratris can be fun with this yummy Vrat pizza loaded with cottage cheese and coriander chutney.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For the base:
  2. Kuttu Flour 1 cup
  3. Boiled & mashed potato 1 medium sized
  4. Rock Salt to taste (used for fasting)
  5. Oil 1 tablespoons
  6. Lukewarm Water 1/2 cup or as required
  7. TOPPINGS:
  8. Grated cottage cheese 1 cup
  9. Cube sized tomato 1 medium sized
  10. Chopped Green Chillies 1-2
  11. Mozzarella Cheese optional
  12. For Chutney:
  13. Fresh coriander 100 grams
  14. Ginger paste 1 teaspoon
  15. Rock salt as per taste
  16. Green chilli 1
  17. Roughly chopped Tomato 1 medium sized
  18. Oil 2 tablespoons (for brushing and shallow frying the base)

Instructions

  1. Knead the soft dough with lukewarm water by mixing flour, salt, mashed potato, salt and oil and keep it aside.
  2. Make chutney by grinding all the chutney ingredients except salt into a smooth paste.
  3. Add salt at last and mix well.
  4. Preheat the oven at 220 degrees and grease a pizza pan with little oil.
  5. Roll the dough into a slightly thick base and shallow fry on a non stick pan until evenly cooked from both the sides.
  6. Once done, spread coriander chutney and add grated cottage cheese, tomato and green chilli.
  7. Bake this at 220 degrees for 4-5 minutes only.
  8. Your Vrat pizza is ready. Serve hot with coriander chutney.
