ABOUT Kuttu Flour Cottage Cheese Burger RECIPE

Kuttu flour is buckwheat flour, rich in fiber, proteins and carbohydrates. This flour does not come under the cereals group and it can be taken in navratras.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Kuttu (buckwheat flour) - 100g
  2. lauki - one medium-sized
  3. Homemade cottage cheese 200g
  4. hung curd 50g
  5. beaten curd 250ml
  6. salt - according to the taste
  7. red chilly powder 1/2 teaspoon
  8. black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  9. coconut powder 1 tbsp
  10. baking soda 1/2 teaspoon or lime juice 20ml
  11. vegetable oil 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Take 100g buckwheat flour in a vessel and add grated lauki in it.
  2. Add water, salt, red chilly powder, black pepper powder and stir it, mix it thoroughly. Adjust its consistency, the batter should be thick but not very dense.
  3. Add curd 250ml and keep it for 10 minutes for fermentation.
  4. Add baking soda 1/2teaspoon or lime juice from freshly squeezed lime.
  5. Take microwave circular disc shaped moulds or containers. Grease them with vegetable oil, pour the batter mixture in these moulds.
  6. Keep it in the microwave mode power 100 for 6 Minutes for baking.
  7. Take a non stick pan, add oil.
  8. Cut cottage cheese into rectangular slices and shallow fry from both the sides.
  9. Sprinkle salt, pepper and red chilly powder to the shallow fried cheese slices.
  10. Now in the mean time remove the baked kuttu discs after 6 minutes from the microwave, demould them.
  11. Apply little hung curd on both the sides of the circular kuttu discs.
  12. Keep cheese slices in between the kuttu discs smeared with hung curd.
  13. On top of the disc apply little hung curd and sprinkle coconut powder.
  14. The navaratri falahari innovative burger is ready.
  15. Enjoy with coconut chutney or Curd dip.

You have added the steps in the ingredients section..it is ver confusing
