Ripe Banana Fritters (Kelya Mulik)

Ingredients to make Ripe Banana Fritters (Kelya Mulik)

  • Over ripe bananas - 4
  • Fine rawa - 1/4 cup
  • jaggery - 2-3 tbsp
  • cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • salt a pinch

How to make Ripe Banana Fritters (Kelya Mulik)

  1. Blend bananas and jaggery to make a paste.
  2. Add rawa and cardamom powder and keep aside for 30 mins.
  3. Heat oil for deep frying.
  4. Pour spoonfuls of batter in kadai and fry till golden brown.
  5. Serve as an evening snack.

My Tip:

Do not add too much jaggery, it makes the paste watery. And rawa to be added as per the consistency of the banana paste. Too much rawa will make the fritters hard.
