Ingredients to make Dahi Ki Mirchi

  • 100 gm green chillies
  • 1 cup yogurt/curd
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • salt to taste

How to make Dahi Ki Mirchi

  1. Wash and drain the green chillies.
  2. Slit the green chilly from between.
  3. In a bowl mix together yogurt, cumin powder & salt.
  4. Dip the green chilly in the yogurt mix.
  5. Remove & arrange separately on a tray.
  6. Keep in sunlight for 4 days to dry.
  7. To use: Shallow fry in little hot oil for few seconds. Remove & serve. Goes well with Dal & Chawal.

My Tip:

Drying process depends on sunlight. Can be stored up to a year. Flavouring agents like lemon, tamarind can be used instead of using yogurt.
