Dahi Rai Ki Bread

Ingredients to make Dahi Rai Ki Bread

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon rai / sarson ke daane
  • 2 tablespoon dahi (curd)
  • 1/4 large onion finely cut
  • 1/4 large tomato finely cut
  • handful of washed dhaniya (corriander)
  • 1/4 shimla mirch (green pepper) (not mendatory)
  • salt as per taste
  • herbs as per taste

How to make Dahi Rai Ki Bread

  1. Mix Dahi, onion, tomato, dhaniya, salt, herbs and shimla mirch.
  2. Put the mixture in between 2 slices of bread.
  3. Switch on gas, put flat pan on it.
  4. Add butter to it and rai/sarson, wait until it starts crackling.
  5. Put the bread you prepared on the prepared rai.
  6. Cook from both side, by pressing the breads a little.
  7. Take them out when they turn brown from both sides.
  8. Cut it into 4 pieces. Serve your kids a healthy, easy to make dish.

My Tip:

You can modify it as per your wish! Put lots of butter for kids, they need it in their growing period. Yes you can add ghee instead of butter. A crispy dahi rai ki bread tastes very good.
