Egg Samosa

Ingredients to make Egg Samosa

  • 2 1/2 cup maida
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • Chopped onions 1/2 cup
  • Chopped green chillies 1 tbsp
  • Chopped cilantro 1 tbsp
  • eggs 5
  • Seasoning cube 1
  • salt to taste in dough as well as in filling
  • oil for frying 2 cups

How to make Egg Samosa

  1. Sieve maida, add 1/2 cup olive oil, salt and mix properly with hands.
  2. Knead a smooth dough by gradually adding little water and keep aside covered with soaked muslin cloth for half hour.
  3. Now heat remaining olive oil and fry the chopped onions till pink brown, add eggs, green chillies, cilantro, salt and chicken seasoning cube. Cook for a while and keep stirring during the process.
  4. Keep this filling aside to cool.
  5. Make small balls of kneaded dough and roll them in small rotis.
  6. Cut those chapatis into halves and fill these halves with the filling to give them the shape of samosas.
  7. Deep fry these samosas and enjoy eating them with hot tea.

My Tip:

Never add too much water while kneading the dough.
