Ingredients to make Dragon Baigan

  • Brinjal (large size) 1
  • Hung curd 3/4 cup
  • haldi powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garsm masala 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • ginger chilli garlic paste 2 tsp
  • oil - For brushing
  • salt to taste
  • Green chillies 4

How to make Dragon Baigan

  1. Marination:
  2. Take hung curd, add haldi, garam masala, red chilli powder, salt and ginger garlic-chilli paste. Mix and keep for 30 minutes.
  3. Take brinjal and clean it. Make sections from top without cutting fully.
  4. Now fill these compartments with the marination. Put four green chillies on four sides like the antenna of the dragon.
  5. Brush the brinjal with oil.
  6. Preheat the microwave at 190 degree. Bake the dragon for 40 minutes or till the brinjal gets cooked.
  7. If needed, oil can be brushed in between also.
