Ingredients to make Chilli Rajma Dabeli

  • Shimla rajma 250 gm socked in warm water for 1 hour
  • onions 1 cup finely chopped
  • tomatoes 1/2 cup finely chopped
  • chilli, ginger garlic paste 1 tbs
  • salt
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • tomato ketchup 3 tsp
  • Hot n sweet tomato sauce 3 tsp
  • Mozzarella Cheese for decoration
  • Finely Chopped capsicum 1/2 cup
  • Pav 8 pieces
  • coriander finely chopped
  • Masala peanuts 100 gm
  • Red garlic chutney
  • butter

How to make Chilli Rajma Dabeli

  1. Pressure cook socked rajma.
  2. In a pan heat butter. Add chilli ginger garlic paste and chopped onions. Cook well.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes. Cook till it turns soft.
  4. Add all spices and cook. Smash with pavbhaji smasher and add tomato ketchup and hot n sweet tomato sauce. Add Rajma water if required. Add salt after tasting the mixture.
  5. Turn the gas off and add 1/2 cup of finely chopped capsicum.
  6. Spread the mixture in the plate and grate cheese on it.
  7. Slit the dabeli pav and apply red garlic chutney. Now spread the rajma mixture. Add chopped onions and masala peanuts. Shallow fry the dabeli on tava with butter
  8. Served hot healthy dabeli with sauce.

My Tip:

You can add paneer and boiled soya chunks for making it more healthier.
