Oats Sponge Cake

Ingredients to make Oats Sponge Cake

  • Oats flour 150 gms
  • All purpose flour 50 gms
  • eggs 2
  • sugar 100 gms
  • Dry fruits 1/4 cup
  • Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp
  • butter 100 gms room temperature

How to make Oats Sponge Cake

  1. Mix eggs and sugar, until fluffy.
  2. Add butter and vanilla extract.
  3. Now add milk.
  4. In another bowl sift flour, baking flour and oats flour.
  5. Now gently mix dry and liquid ingredients.
  6. Grease a baking pan, dust with flour.
  7. Pour the batter into the baking pan.
  8. Preheat pressure cooker for 10 mins minimum, in low heat. Now put the steamer ring inside.
  9. Now put the baking pan inside the pressure cooker.
  10. Bake for 40 mins or until the inserted toothpick comes clean.
  11. Let it cool for 15 mins.
  12. Take out the baking pan.
  13. Demould it, cut and serve.
