Spinach Steamed Eggs / Palak Steamed Eggs

Ingredients to make Spinach Steamed Eggs / Palak Steamed Eggs

  • eggs - 3
  • spinach - 1 Bunch
  • onion - 2, Chopped
  • garlic - 2 pods, crushed
  • coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • cumin powder - 1 tsp
  • Fresh cream - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
  • salt - As per taste
  • oil - 2 tsp
  • tomato - 1

How to make Spinach Steamed Eggs / Palak Steamed Eggs

  1. Blanch palak leaves and puree them. Puree the tomatoes too.
  2. Beat eggs with salt , turmeric powder and black pepper powder.
  3. Now in a greased ceramic bowl steam the eggs for 7-8 mins in pressure cooker, remove whistle and gasket. Cut them in cubes.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, fry onion and garlic until they are soft and translucent.
  5. Add cumin, coriander, turmeric and chilli powder.
  6. Add salt and palak paste also and fry for 7-8 minutes. Add tomato puree and fry for five minutes.
  7. Add 1 cup of water and bring the mixture to boil. Let it boil for 7 - 8 minutes on medium heat.
  8. Boil and simmer for 7_8 mins , medium heat
  9. Add fresh cream and steamed eggs.
  10. Check for salt, add garam masala and fresh cream. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve.
