Caramel flan

Ingredients to make Caramel flan

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 spoon vanila essense
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • 1/2 litre milk
  • 2 cubes of go cheese
  • 80grms sugar another cup of sugar for caramel
  • 1 cup fresh cream

How to make Caramel flan

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200 deg for 10 min.Bring the milk to boil. Add fresh cream, cheese cubes to it.stir continuously till all get dissolves, let it cool.
  2. For caramel in a pan add a cup of sugar to 1/2 cup of water stir it continously tpill it caramelise. When done pour it into the rramekins or bowl in which you desire to cook it.
  3. For custard..In a bowl crack eggs and add 80 grams of sugar to it whisk it all together till it mixes wellnow add this to the milk mixture,add vanila extract.stir it continously. Strain it. Pour the strained mixture onto the caramel ones
  4. Now this will go for bath in oven for 25 mins on 200deg. Once done let it stand for 10 mins afterwhich it has to be plated upside down where you see the caramel on topand the custard below

My Tip:

Caramel sauce has to be stirred continously and removed from the gas top when it changes it colour Or else it will get burn.
