Crispy Sweet n Spicy Poha

Ingredients to make Crispy Sweet n Spicy Poha

  • 500 g poha
  • 2 tbsp pure ghee
  • 1 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 5 tbsp jaggery powder
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • Pinch of Asafetida
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • salt to taste

How to make Crispy Sweet n Spicy Poha

  1. In a microwave heat the poha dry along with ghee, a little at a time. The poha become crispy after about 5min. Be sure you micro about 1.5 min at a time with mixing in between.
  2. In a small container add a few drops of ghee, heat and add the mustard seeds and asafetida. Cover till they splatter. Put off flame and just powder with a pestle.
  3. Now take the grated coconut and add all the ingredients except poha to this.
  4. When serving mist both and serve.

Spiciness can be adjusted as per taste to make this recipe a super hit in your kitchen.
