I would always shun away the thought of making icecream because I thought you need an icecream churner, a stabilizer etc. But you can make such creamy and delicious ice cream at home.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Whipping cream 2 cups
  2. Milk 1/4 cup
  3. Condensed milk 1 can /400ml
  4. Bread slice 1-2
  5. Cocoa 2 tbsp
  6. Almonds 4-5
  7. Saffron strands a few

Instructions

  1. Freeze the whipping cream for 15 mins Then use a whisk or an electric mixer to whip the heavy cream until soft peaks are formed. Do not over mix.
  2. Keep aside in the fridge once the peaks are formed. Separate it in two different containers dividing it into half. To use fr Chocolate ice cream and Kulfi respectively.
  3. Take half of the condensed milk and mix cocoa to make a smooth paste.Mix this paste in one portion of the whipped cream, keep mixing till it blends well.
  4. Set it in an airtight box and let it freeze overnight.Let the half of the whipping cream be kept aside in the refrigerator only.
  5. Warm the milk and add few strands of saffron and keep aside for at least 20 mins.
  6. Take the half can condensed milk, bread slice and the saffron milk and mix well in a mixer.
  7. Once you have a creamy paste mix it with the whipping cream.
  8. Chop the almonds very finely and mix them in this kulfi mix.
