Chocolatey Delight

Ingredients to make Chocolatey Delight

  • 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup to 1 cup sugar powdered
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/3 cup oil/ melted butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp vinegar/ lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp vanilla.
  • 1/2 tsp coffee

How to make Chocolatey Delight

  1. Sieve the dry ingredients, the flour, baking powder, soda, cocoa powder and salt. Transfer the above in a bowl.
  2. Add in the oil, sugar, vinegar, warm water.
  3. Mix well after adding each ingredient.
  4. Leave a little warm water aside, mix the coffee powder and then pour it into the mixture. Add the vanilla. Mix well and your batter is ready.
  5. Preheat the oven at 170 Degree Celsius and bake it for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. For the Cream cocoa frosting: 200 ml packet of amul fresh cream, few tablespoons of caster sugar and 2 tbsp of cocoa powder. Blend till smooth and glossy.
