Ingredients to make Mathri

  • 500gram maida
  • salt
  • Ajwain 1 tsp
  • Kalongi 1 tsp
  • oil for frying
  • ghee 4 tsp

How to make Mathri

  1. Sieve Maida add 4tsp. Ghee (warm). Add salt, Kalanamak and ajwaaiin. Make tight dough with warm water.
  2. Make round chapati (thick.) cut any shape with knife and deep fry on medium gas. Let it cool
  3. Store in airtight jar. Serve guest crunchy tea or coffee snack.

My Tip:

Make tight dough and fry light pink colour by stirring it proper.
