Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Mutton paaya 8
  2. Oil 1 1/2 tbsp
  3. Onion sliced 3
  4. Ginger Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  5. Tomatoes chopped 1 (optional)
  6. Coriander pwdr 11/2 tbsp
  7. Red Chilly pwdr 1 tbsp
  8. turmeric pwdr 1tsp
  9. Garam masala pwdr 1tsp
  10. Khada masala:green cardmom 6
  11. Black cardmom 3
  12. Cloves 6-8
  13. Shahi zeera 1/2 tsp
  14. Black peppercorns 10
  15. Cinnamon stick 1 1/2 inch
  16. Javitri few pieces
  17. zeera 1/2tsp
  18. Bay leaves 2-3
  19. curry leaves 10

Instructions

  1. Wash d paya in lukewarm water for 2-3 times or till u get clean water and d paya starts luking white
  2. Nw take a large pressure cooker . Heat oil add all d khada masala . When it starts to splutter add d paya, mix it well
  3. Nw add all d masalas , onion and tomato.mix it well
  4. Add suffiecient amount of water .about 3 cups
  5. Cover it and let it cook on medium high flame for abt 4 - 5 hours .
  6. Keep on checking after regular intervals . Also adjust water if required
  7. Once it is cooked u will see oil separating .garnish wid coriander leaves.
