Masala stuffed capsicum

Ingredients to make Masala stuffed capsicum

  • capsicum -2
  • tomato - 1 finely chopped
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Stuffing Ingredients:
  • onion - 1 large, finely chopped
  • besan - 1 cup
  • red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • amchur powder - 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil - 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/2 pinch

How to make Masala stuffed capsicum

  1. Wash and cut capsicum into halves. Discard the seeds. Keep aside.
  2. Take a bowl. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, besan, salt, amchur powder and mix well. Now add oil and mix. Add onions.
  3. Add water little by little to make a paste.
  4. Stuff this masala into the capsicum.
  5. Heat a Kadai. Add oil. Splutter jeera. Then add onions and saute till golden brown. Add tomato and fry till soft. Then add turmeric powder and garam masala powder. Add little salt.
  6. Arrange the stuffed capsicums in the Kadai and cook covered. Add little water if required.
  7. Cook for about 8 minutes and serve hot.
