Churmura Chivada.

Ingredients to make Churmura Chivada.

  • Churmura 500grms
  • Groundnuts 150 grms
  • Daliya ( roasted split chana. 100 grams
  • Dry coconut chips ( coconut dipped in water overnight, cut chips and dry well under fan. ) 1/2 cup.
  • green chillies 3 to 4
  • oil for seasoning
  • Asafoetida, mustard seeds, curry patta for seasoning
  • Salt , turmeric powder and chilli powder according to taste.

How to make Churmura Chivada.

  1. Sieve and dry roast churmura in a big kadhai. Keep aside.
  2. Heat oil. Add asafoetida and Mustard Seeds. After it splitters add curry patta and green chillies (chopped ). After 3 minutes add coconut chips, ground nuts and Daliya. Let them turn brown.
  3. Add Churmura and all Masala according to taste. Stir for 5 minutes. Add little sugar powder at the end ..
  4. Enjoy your Deewali Snacks. Store in air tight container

My Tip:

Be careful while dry roasting Churmura not to burn. Adjust Coconut chips , ground nuts and Daliya according to your requirement.
