SUGAR-FREE DRYFRUIT ROLL

Ingredients to make SUGAR-FREE DRYFRUIT ROLL

  • 100 grams cashewnuts
  • 100 grams almonds
  • 100 grams pistachios
  • 100 grams charoli/chironji
  • 100 grams dates
  • 100 grams figs/anjeer
  • 2 tablespoon spoon poppy seeds(optional
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter/ Ghee

How to make SUGAR-FREE DRYFRUIT ROLL

  1. Deseed the dates and chop them. Also chop Anjeer.
  2. Also chop all the dryfruits separately. *You can skip chopping and pulse all the dryfruits in food processor
  3. Heat butter/ghee in a pan and add the dryfruits. Roast them on a medium flame for about 3-4 minutes. Add cardamom powder
  4. Now add chopped anjeer and dates . Mix well to bring together all the ingredients. Cook for 2 minutes and switch off the flame. Allow the mixture to cool a bit.
  5. Spread poppy seeds on a parchment paper and roll the mixture on it. Roll the paper and seal both ends.
  6. Refrigerate for an hour and cut into 1/2 inch rolls and garnish with halved cashews/almonds and serve.
