Ingredients to make Paneer Butter Masala~ under 20 mins.

  • 200 gms Fresh Paneer cubed
  • 5 Ripe red Tomatoes
  • 6 cloves of Garlic
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 3 tbsp Fresh cream
  • 1 tsp Butter Chicken Masala/ Tandoori chicken masala
  • 1 tsp crushed kasuri methi leaves

How to make Paneer Butter Masala~ under 20 mins.

  1. Mince the garlic, ginger and green chilli and keep aside.
  2. Blitz the tomatoes in the blender to a smooth puree.
  3. Gently heat butter in a pan and add the bay leaves.
  4. Now add in the ginger, garlic and green chilli paste. Saute for a minute.
  5. Add the tomato puree and cook covered for another 10 minutes.
  6. Next add in the garam masala and the Butter chicken masala as well the paneer. Season with salt.
  7. Cook covered for another 5-6 minutes, till gravy is thick. Add some water if required.
  8. Stir in the cream and kasuri methi and switch off flame. Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
  9. Do not overcook, as paneer can get rubbery.

My Tip:

Serve with naans/ paranthas or jeera rice.
