Ingredients to make Microwave Besan ladoo

  • Coarse besan 2 cup
  • sugar 1 cup
  • ghee 1/2 cup
  • Powdered sugar 1 cup
  • Green cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • pistachios 10-12

How to make Microwave Besan ladoo

  1. Take a microwave safe bowl add ghee on high heat or power level 10 warm for 30-40 sec or till it melt.
  2. Remove bowl safely from microwave then add coarse besan and mix well.keep bowl back to microwave cook for 2 minutes on hight heat or power level 10.
  3. Remove bowl mix besan mixture with help of spatula.now we will microwave for 4 min .
  4. Every 30 second or a minute remove bowl & mix well till besan get even brown & start leaving nice aroma.
  5. Remove cooked besan mixture on a plate to cool down or it come down to room temperature.
  6. Once it cool down add powdered sugar & green cardamom powder.mix well.
  7. Take a handful mixture in your hand press firmly to make a round ladoo shape.
  8. Garnish with pistachios.

My Tip:

Using fine besan then add 1 tbsp sooji first & then add besan in ghee. Increase or decrease sugar quantity. One can increase ghee quantity for shiny ladoos. Every microwave has different efficiency so keep an eye on besan mixture to prevent from burning.
