DRY FRUIT CHIKKI

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dry fruits ( generally I chop dry fruits vertically )
  • 1/4 cup poppy seeds
  • 1 table spoon lemon juice
  • 1 table spoon oil

Steps

  1. Take a pan put sugar in it
  2. Stir continuously on low flame till the sugar dissolve
  3. When the sugar is fully dissolves put lemon juice in it
  4. Stir for just 1 or 2 seconds and put the dry fruits and poppy seeds immediately
  5. Mix the sugar, dry fruits and poppy seeds ( be quick in this process )
  6. Grease a flat roller or surface and also the rolling pin
  7. Put the ready mixture on the greased surface and roll it with the rolling pin
My Tip: In the whole process you have to be very quick then only the chikki will come up to its mark
