Ingredients to make Methi muthia , gujrati snack

  • whole wheat flour 1/2 cup
  • gram flour 1/2 cup
  • fresh fenugreek leaves chopped and washed 1 cup
  • sugar 2 1/2 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • oil 3 tbsp
  • ginger and chilli paste 2 tsp
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tsp

How to make Methi muthia , gujrati snack

  1. In a bowl mix atta , besan , chilli powder, salt , sugar , lemon juice , turmeric powder and oil
  2. Mix with your hands
  3. Add 2_3 tbsp water
  4. Now grease your palms make small balls
  5. Now give oblong shape to the balls
  6. Heat oil fry them in the batch of 4_5 maximum

My Tip:

You can also steam them , boil water , grease a steamer plate , steam muthias for 15_18 mins , check with a knife , if it comes clean then they are done . Now prepare seasoning , heat oil , put a tsp of sesame seeds, black mustard seeds , now cut the muthias , fry with seasoning , fry until Brown , serve
