Ingredients to make Instant jalebis without yeast

  • Refined flour 200grm
  • Cornflour 2tbsp
  • Hang curd 1/2 cup
  • A pinch of salt
  • sugar 2 cup
  • White oil for frying
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Yellow food colour 1/2 tsp

How to make Instant jalebis without yeast

  1. In a bowl add refined flour, a pinch of salt, cornflour, a pinch of yellow food colour, hang curd and mix well.
  2. Add 1/2 cup warm water to it and make a batter.
  3. Keep this batter in a warm place for minimum 3 hour.
  4. After 3 hour pour the batter in a piping bag.
  5. Heat oil in a saucepan and make jalebis with the batter.
  6. In another pan mix sugar with 1cup of water and give it a nice boil.
  7. When the sugar syrup is ready add fried jalebis to it.
  8. Add cardamom powder to it & serve immediately...

My Tip:

You can skip yellow food colour or use kesar instead of this.
