Ingredients to make Atta suji mathri and kurkure

  • atta-2katori
  • Suji-1katori
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • Desi ghee-1katori
  • salt as per taste
  • Black pepper powder-1tbsp
  • Ajwain-1teaspoon
  • water to knead tight dough
  • Pinch of jeera
  • coriander powder-1tbsp
  • Methi(fenugreek)leaves

How to make Atta suji mathri and kurkure

  1. Take wheat flour and suji and mix well
  2. Now add desi ghee and mix well like crumble
  3. Now add dry masalas-salt black pepper turmeric powder coriander powder ajwain
  4. Add methi leaves and mix well
  5. Now add water to make tight dough
  6. Now for mathri take a small ball and press it with hands
  7. Now prick them with fork or knife
  8. Now for kurkure-take some portion of dough in hands and stretch thrm in length wise gently with hands to shape the sticks like kurkure
  9. Now deep fry mathri and kurkure at medium heat

My Tip:

Used suji instead of maida with wheat flour
