Enjoy this yummylicious easiest dessert that can be whipped up on any occasion to double up the fun and excitement. Made with minimum of ingredients yet out of this world in taste and looks as well.

Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. All purpose flour or maida 1 cup
  2. Sugar a cup
  3. Water 3/4 th cup
  4. Dry fruits of your choice slivered 3 to 4 tbsp
  5. Ghee or butter 2 tbsp
  6. Food colour a pinch or two of your choice
  7. Vanilla or rose or any essence of your choice a tsp

Instructions

  1. In a pan heat the ghee or butter and roast the dry fruits well.
  2. Drain and keep aside.
  3. To the same pan add the flour and keep stirring it until a nice aroma emanates in your kitchen. Keep stirring it and do not over roast it.
  4. Make a one string consistency sugar syrup and add the flour to it along with the dry fruits and the colour along with the vanilla essence or the rose essence
  5. Keep stirring it and mixing it until it becomes thick.
  6. It will get thicker as it cools down.
  7. Transfer this to a greased dish and let it cool for say around 15 to 20 mins.
  8. After that cut into desired shapes and enjoy.
