Cheesy Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients to make Cheesy Stuffed Mushrooms

  • 1 pkt button mushrooms (large ones)
  • 2 cubes cheese
  • 2-3 green chillies
  • Bunch of corriander leaves
  • 8-10 garlic cloves
  • 2-3 tbsp fine rice flour
  • 2 Tbsp Cornflour
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to make Cheesy Stuffed Mushrooms

  1. Remove the stalks of the mushroom after cleaning well and wiping dry. Ensure that each mushroom is scooped to leave a cup shape for the filling.
  2. For the filling, blend together the chillies, garlic, corr. leaves , and cheese. Fill each mushroom with this using a spoon.
  3. Prepare a thick batter like dosa batter using both flours, salt and water.
  4. In a pan , heat oil , dip each mushroom in this and shallow fry on both surfaces till golden brown. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Use a non stick pan as cheese tends to stick while shallow frying. Also just flip over once.
