Ingredients to make Wheat Nankhatai

  • Wheat Flour – 1 1/4 cup
  • semolina -1/2 cup
  • baking powder - 1 pinch
  • cardamom -1/4 tsp
  • Ghee- 1/2 cup
  • Sugar(powdered) - 1/2 cup

How to make Wheat Nankhatai

  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix wheat flour, semolina, baking powder and cardamom powder. Sift the flour mix before adding it.
  3. In another bowl, mix well sugar and ghee till fluffy.
  4. Add the wheat flour mix to it and knead well to make a soft dough. Make small balls out of it. Press slightly each ball using your palms.
  5. Grease a baking tray and place the cookies.Bake for about 20-25 minutes till golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and let it cool.
