Ingredients to make Kabab platter

  • For zarda rice-basmati rice 3 cup
  • Whole garam masala(cinnamon,cardamom,clove)
  • bay leaf 2 no.
  • salt as per taste
  • Yellow food colour 1/2 teaspoon
  • sugar 2 tablespoon
  • Dry fruits as per needed
  • ghee 2 tablespoon
  • For kababs-minced chicken 500 grams
  • onion paste 1 tablespoon
  • ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoon
  • cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  • red chilli powder 2 teaspoon
  • egg 1 no.
  • Poppy seed paste 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  • Kabab masala 2 teaspoon
  • Kasouri methi 1 tablespoon
  • ghee 2 teaspoon

How to make Kabab platter

  1. For zarda rice-soak the rice in water for minimum 1 hour.Drain the water.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan.Add bay leaf whole & garam masala to it.
  3. Add rice & fry a little.
  4. Add water,yellow food colour,salt.Mix it & cover with lid.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes in a low flame.
  6. Add sugar & dry fruits.
  7. For kababs-mix all the ingredients and make kababs in different shapes.
  8. Grill in microwave for 10 minutes.
  9. Brush ghee and again grill for 5 minutes.
  10. Serve immediately.

My Tip:

You can serve with poached egg and grilled tomatoes..
