No bake banana peanut butter tart

Ingredients to make No bake banana peanut butter tart

  • For the Tart: 25 Oreo cookies
  • 3/4 cup butter (at room temp.)
  • For the Filling: 100 grams Dark Chocolate
  • 100 ml Heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp Smooth Peanut butter
  • 2 bananas (sliced)

How to make No bake banana peanut butter tart

  1. Place the Oreo cookies in the food processor and whizz at medium speed until it forms crumbs.
  2. Pour the butter into the cookie crumbs and mix till fully incorporated.
  3. Line the tart tin with this cookie mix, spreading the mixture round evenly. Transfer the tin into the refrigerator for the cookie mixture to set.
  4. For the filling, bring the heavy cream to a boil, remove from heat and add the dark chocolate. Mix till the chocolate fully melts. Keep in the refrigerator.
  5. Take out the tart tin from the refrigerator. Gently spread the peanut butter and line with the banana slices.
  6. Pour the chocolate filling over the lined base and refrigerate for 30 minutes or till set.

My Tip:

Be patient while spreading the peanut butter as it could get a little messy. Give a nice whisk to the chocolate filling when it is chilling.
