Ingredients to make Khaman dhokla

  • gram flour( besan) 2 cup
  • Yougurt beaten 1 cup
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • ginger Paste 1 Tsp
  • Green chili paste 1/2 tsp
  • sugar 2 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • Grated coconut 2 tbsp
  • curry leaves
  • Black mustard seed 1 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Soda bi carbonate 1 tsp

How to make Khaman dhokla

  1. In a bowl add gram flour, salt, sugar, yogurt, turmeric powder, ginger paste, green chili paste, lemon juice together and beat it.
  2. Keep aside for 1 hour.
  3. Add soda bi carbonate ad mix it.
  4. In a microwave proof bowl grease some oil and pour the batter.
  5. Cook it in micro full power for 6 min.
  6. Heat 1 tsp oil add mustard seed and curry leaves. Fry a little. Add this over the cooked dhokla.
  7. Spread grated coconut.
  8. Serve with tamarind chutney.
