Ingredients to make #Kheel kabab

  • Kheel 4 cups
  • curd 1 cup
  • salt 1 tsp
  • ginger Paste 1 Tsp
  • green chillies chopped 2-4
  • Green coriander chopped 2 tbsp
  • For stuffing:
  • cottage cheese 2 tbsp
  • Boiled peas 2 tbsp
  • Chopped ginger 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to make #Kheel kabab

  1. Pick husk from the kheel.Soak kheel in curd with salt for half hour to soften the kheel. If you feel mixture is watery, add more kheel accordingly.
  2. Meanwhile prepare stuffing. Crush cottage cheese and mix all ingredients under stuffing.
  3. Take soaked kheel. Add ginger paste, chopped green chilies and green coriander . Mix and mash the mixture with laddle.
  4. Take a portion of kheel mixture on your palm. Make a depression. Put a portion of stuffing in center and roll into a patty.
  5. In a non stick pan heat oil and shallow fry all patties.
  6. Serve with any dip of your choice.
  7. Happy cooking!

My Tip:

Handle your kababs gently. When you put them in oil leave them to cook till thick crust forms at bottom. It takes about 3 minutes on medium heat. If you flip them early and again and again they will break.
